The Cinema at VinCom Mall is the CGV Cinema, behind the escalators, on the top floor. It looks like there will be restrooms nearby but they are actually at the other end of the floor. Unlike the films, the website and app are not always in English. However, you can usually find what movies (“phims”) are playing just by checking the app. The rules are generally the same as US theaters, no outside food or drink, and the usual sneaks usually also work. Sadly, in Vietnam, the popcorn is lightly sweet, not salty.
Even though they show the pre-film warnings about no texting, talking, and cell phone use, nobody pays attention and they all do it anyway. I complained about this at a theater and from then on I had a row to myself. They didn’t punish the perp, they punished me. Still, having my own row did have some advantages.
